CONDUCTOR COILS
Conductor coils, a key component of the implantable lead, create an electrical path between the implanted device, such as a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator,and the area of the body to be stimulated. 

Lake Region Medical developed and manufactured the first conductor coils for cardiac pacing leads over 50 years ago and continues to be the leader in providing reliable quality, consistency and dependable supply and service.

STIMULATION ELECTRODES
Stimulation electrodes are in direct contact with the tissue that is to be stimulated by an implantable device such as a pacemaker or defibrillator. 

Lake Region Medical’s precision micro-tooling and manufacturing capabilities have resulted in millions of patients around the world being implanted with stimulation electrodes.

POSITIONING STYLETS & GUIDEWIRES
Stylets are placed in the center lumen of a pacing lead and are used to help position the lead’s stimulation electrode. Positioning Guidewires are used with “over-the-wire” stimulation leads that are positioned in the Coronary Sinus (CS) vasculature.

Lake Region Medical has trade secret processes for handling, shaping and de-stressing stylets and wires during manufacture, along with automated equipment for reliable assembly and inspection.

DEVICE ASSEMBLY
The continuous effort to make implanted products smaller and more reliable often causes the device’s individual components to become increasingly fragile and susceptible to damage before assembly.

Completing the development and assembly of components onsite at Lake Region can reduce risk and increase quality. Additionally, Lake Region’s expertise in handling and joining small and micro components can save time and reduce cost.

RETRIEVAL DEVICES
Endovascular retrieval devices include a wide array of designs and functions, which range from biopsy sampling of tissue to intravascular emboli retrieval.
